Haryana pushes Gurugram Metro, Hisar industrial cluster as major projects move to execution stage

Chandigarh, Sep 16 (UNI) Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on Wednesday ordered faster execution of major infrastructure projects across the state as the Rs5,452.72-crore Gurugram Metro moved into site work and a Rs707-crore construction package for the Hisar manufacturing cluster drew 10 bids. Rastogi reviewed the projects at a high-level meeting of PRAGATI and the Project Monitoring Group, taking stock of metro rail, industrial infrastructure, healthcare, logistics, power transmission and freight corridor works. The three biggest projects reviewed Gurugram Metro, the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster at Hisar, and AIIMS Majra in Rewari carry a combined estimated cost of Rs11,778.15 crore. Rastogi…
