Rape victim delivers baby boy in Kangra

Kangra, Nov 20 (UNI) A 14-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy in January and March this year, delivered a baby boy in Dr Rajinder Prasad Government Medical College at Tanda on Monday, police said here.
The victim is the student of class IX of a village falling under Nagrota Bagwan police station. The accused was also resident of the same village.
Sub Divisional Police officer, Kangra, Sanjeev Chauhan told UNI that the victim had lodged a report with Nagrota Bagwan police station in September this year that she was allegedly raped by the boy in January and March this year leaving her pregnant. The SDPO said the victim was accompanied by her mother at the time of lodging the FIR.
