Ramtek Cong candidate's caste certificate cancelled out of political hatred: Patole

Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Nana Patole on Thursday alleged the caste certificate of the party's Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency candidate Rashmi Barve has been cancelled out of "political hatred".
Talking to mediapersons in Gondia, Patole said there is a perception in the country that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be defeated in the Lok Sabha elections. "The BJP is suffering from the fear of this defeat and out of this fear they are conspiring against the opposition parties," he said.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday rejected Barve's caste certificate during the scrutiny of nomination papers. The commission said it was not satisfied with the validity of the certificate.
