Qatar to host meeting of G7, global south officials on Ukraine this weekend

Doha, April 25 (UNI) Qatar is to host a meeting of high-ranking officials and security advisers from the G7 countries and the Global South this weekend to prepare for the upcoming Ukraine conference in Switzerland, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The officials are expected to hold roundtable discussions, discuss plans, and prepare the ground for the summit on the Ukraine conflict settlement scheduled for June.
The list of participants has reportedly not been finalised, but Russia has not been invited, and China's presence remains unclear.
