Police book 250 auto drivers for seizing residence of Jalandhar MP

Jalandhar, Jan 2 (UNI) Police on Tuesday booked 250 unidentified auto drivers including three leaders of the auto union for seizing the residence of Lok Sabha member from Jalandhar, Chaudhary Santokh Singh.
According to police, the three union leaders include Ravi Sabharwal, Dharmendr Gill and Avtar Singh Atwal have been booked under the sections 283, 188, 147 and 149 of the IPC and section 6 of the National Highway act of 1956 for blocking public road.
The ACP said that no one would be allowed to harass public by organising dharnas on the road by blocking the traffic.
