General Secretary H Raja under the Goondas Act for his controversial Face Book post that advocated razing down of Rationalist leader Periyar's statue.
Raja's remarks, which drew the ire of various political parties and Tamil organisations and outfits, also became a National issue with several leaders, including those within the BJP, condemning the former Karaikudi MLA.
