Outbreak of dengue in Hoshiarpur district creates panic

Hoshiarpur, Oct 16 (UNI) The outbreak of dengue in Hoshiarpur district has created panic among the general public.
According to Dr Renu Sud, Civil Surgeon, Hoshiarpur, the microbiology lab in the local Civil Hospital had taken more than 2,000 samples of suspected dengue patients during recent past of which 625 were found positive.
A special ward had already been set up at local Civil Hospital for such patients. Keeping in view the gravity of the situation, one more ward had also been set up in the Civil Hospital.
