Oram demands senior officers for Rourkela Smart City project

Bhubaneswar, Jan 05 (UNI) Union Tribal Welfare Minister Jual Oram has requested Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to issue necessary instructions to post senior and experienced officers to manage the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) and timely completion of the Rourkela Smart City project.
In a letter to Patnaik, the copies of which was released to the press here today, the Union Minister said in the last monsoon session of the Assembly, the state Urban Development Minister had said that an Additional Secretary rank officer would manage the RMC and the Rourkela Smart city project.
But the government has failed on the front and posted an ADM rank officer who is already burdened with two more portfolios apart from the charge of the smart city project.
