'Sukoon' becomes lifeline for women facing violence in Hisar, helps 1,005 victims access support

Panchkula, Oct 7 (UNI) For women experiencing violence, seeking help can be difficult. The Sukoon Centre at the District Civil Hospital in Hisar addresses this by offering a safe space for victims to share their experiences, receive counselling, and access medical, police, legal, and government support. From March 2022 to September 2026, the centre supported 1,005 women and children affected by violence, tailoring services to each individual's needs.
