Bay of Bengal system to intensify into deep depression; extremely heavy rain forecast in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh

Panchkula, Sep 21 (UNI) A well-marked low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a deep depression and approach the north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts around September 23, bringing extremely heavy rainfall and squally winds to parts of eastern and central India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday.
