Rama Rajya unique to India as it was not based on military conquests: BJP leader K. Surendran

Kochi, Sep 21 (UNI) The concept of 'Rama Rajya' was unique to India as the country's historical achievements were built not on military conquests but on intellectual, spiritual and cultural contributions, BJP national secretary K Surendran has said. Addressing the concluding session of the three-day Janmabhumi Ramakatha National Conclave here, Surendran said the Ramayana had been a major source of inspiration for India's intellectual, spiritual and cultural heritage.
