Uttarakhand to map 100 new trekking routes, 1st state to develop app for easy access to more than 100 hill treks

Dehradun, Sep 18 (UNI) Uttarakhand government today launched a hunt for identifying 100 major trekking and hiking routes, mainly in the hilly areas, to enhance the scope of adventure tourism in the state. The beginning of hunt for new trekking routes took off after a team of experts was flagged off by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for mapping and survey of the tracks.
