"Symbol is our first preference; name is our third": Ritabrata Banerjee

Kolkata, Sep 18 (UNI) Reacting to the Election Commission's decision to allot separate names and symbols to the two rival Trinamool Congress factions ahead of the Nandigram and Rejinagar Assembly by-elections, Leader of Opposition Ritabrata Banerjee said on Friday that the symbol allotted to his faction was its first preference, while the name was its third choice. The Election Commission has allotted the name "Democratic Trinamool Congress" and the 'Envelope' symbol to the faction led by Ritabrata Banerjee.
