Haryana's Neeru Dhanda scripts history with Asian Games trap gold; CM Saini hails Jind shooter

Panchkula, Sep 29 (UNI) Haryana shooter Neeru Dhanda scripted history on Tuesday by becoming the first Indian woman to win an individual gold medal in the women's trap event at the Asian Games, prompting Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to hail the Jind athlete for bringing glory to the country. Dhanda, 26, clinched the title at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan, adding an individual gold after also helping India secure silver in the women's trap team event alongside Manisha Keer and Aashima Ahlawat earlier in the day.
