Telangana ranks second in pulse cultivation with 36 pc rise: Tummala

New Delhi/Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) Telangana has secured the second position in the country in pulse cultivation during the current Kharif season, recording a 36 per cent increase in acreage over the previous year, State Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said on Tuesday. Addressing the National Rabi Conference in New Delhi, Tummala highlighted the State government's initiatives on crop diversification, climate-resilient agriculture, digital farming, agricultural infrastructure and credit support.
