Panchkula plans 125 days of rural jobs under VB-G RAM G

Panchkula, Sept 28 (UNI) The Panchkula administration has directed officials to prepare village-level works under the newly implemented Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G), which provides eligible rural households a statutory guarantee of 125 days of wage employment in a financial year. Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma, while reviewing the implementation of the scheme here on Monday, directed Block Development and Panchayat Officers and other officials to identify works according to local requirements, with priority given to water security, rural infrastructure, livelihood enhancement, and climate resilience.
