Railway sports incentives not restricted to sports-quota recruits: Board

New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) The Railway Board has clarified that employees recruited through channels other than the sports quota are also eligible for consideration for out-of-turn promotions and other sports incentives, subject to prescribed sporting norms and existing policy conditions. "The benefit shall be admissible irrespective of the mode of initial recruitment of the Railway Employee," the Board said in a circular.
