Punjab Police Launch 'Operation KAWACH' to Tackle Drug Abuse Among Students

Chandigarh, Oct 9 (UNI) Punjab Police on Friday launched 'Operation KAWACH', a student-focused initiative aimed at preventing drug abuse, identifying vulnerable students and enabling confidential reporting of suspected drug activity, harassment and other safety concerns in educational institutions. Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ludhiana Range, Sandeep Goel launched the programme at the Gulzar Group of Institutions in Khanna. The initiative has been developed by Khanna Senior Superintendent of Police Dr Darpan Ahluwalia.
