Maha: Two arrested for accepting Rs Rs50,000 bribe in name of GST inquiry in Nandurbar

Nandurbar, Oct 9 (UNI) Two persons were arrested by the Nashik Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs Rs50,000 in the name of a GST inquiry at a hotel near the RTO checkpost on National Highway 53, close to Navapur city in Nandurbar district. According to the complaint, the accused had initially demanded Rs1 lakh to settle a GST case involving a local trader and a substantial amount of tax.
