Haryana Minister Arvind Sharma seeks market-linked compensation for farmers affected by 400-kV power line

Sonipat, Oct 8 (UNI) Haryana Minister of Jails Dr Arvind Sharma on Thursday met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and sought fair compensation based on prevailing market rates for farmers whose land has been affected by the Rewari-Sonipat 400-kV high-tension power transmission line. Sharma raised the grievances and demands of farmers from several villages, including Jaji, Mohana, Gudhana, Bhainswal, Bichpadi, and Ahulana, urging the Chief Minister to ensure that affected landowners receive compensation that reflects the actual market value of their land.
