BJP announces candidates for remaining six MLC seats in UP

Lucknow, Sep 29 (UNI) The BJP on Tuesday announced its candidates for the remaining six seats in the biennial elections to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council, completing its list for all 11 seats going to polls. Harikishore Tiwari has been nominated from the Agra Graduates' constituency, while Dhruv Kumar Tripathi has been fielded from the Faizabad-Gorakhpur Teachers' constituency. Tripathi, who is currently an MLC from the constituency, has not yet joined the BJP and represents the Teachers' Party.
