Majithia, Khaira ask Chandigarh court to lift interim restraint in defamation case filed by Punjab CM's wife

Chandigarh, Oct 7 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia and Congress legislator Sukhpal Singh Khaira have moved a Chandigarh district court seeking to vacate an ex parte interim injunction restraining them from publishing or circulating unverified defamatory content against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's wife, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, in a case stemming from allegations of a Rs 5-crore bribe demand. Majithia and Khaira have filed separate applications seeking the vacation of the interim order passed on September 8.
