Opposition trying to create anarchy in country to benefit infiltrators: Nitin Nabin

Varanasi, October 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin on Wednesday accused the Opposition of trying to create an atmosphere of anarchy in the country with the help of anti-social elements. Nabin said that whatever the Opposition's objective may be, he and the people of the country would never allow it to succeed.
"The Leader of the Opposition in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi, is trying to create chaos on the issue of anti-social elements. The question arises: whose fight is he fighting?" Nabin said. He alleged that the Opposition is fighting to secure rights for infiltrators and said the people of India would not allow this. "If the names of such people are removed from the voter list through SIR and they raise questions about democracy, then the Opposition itself will be questioned. The people of the country will certainly answer this anarchist thinking of the Opposition," he said.
Nabin also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that his 25 years of public service has given the country a new direction and new thinking. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the "Bike Seva Yatra" organised here to mark Modi's 25 years in political life, Nabin said the occasion was special for the country and its youth. "The journey of service and dedication that began 25 years ago has reached an important milestone.
This is an important day for the fulfilment of Prime Minister Modi's dream of making India a developed nation," he said. The BJP president said people often ask how a person becomes a maker of history. "Today, the Prime Minister has become a maker of history. This is not merely because Modi is the supreme leader of the BJP, but because a look at the history of the last 25 years provides clear evidence of this," he said. Nabin said only those who have the ability to turn the pages of history, shape it, transform people's lives and provide the country with new thinking and direction become history makers.
He credited Modi with advancing the vision of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat" and "Antyodaya". Recalling Modi's tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister, Nabin said that after the earthquake in Kutch, Modi understood the voices emerging from the rubble as an expression of public sentiment and dedicated himself to serving the nation. He said that when Modi became Prime Minister in 2014, the country was going through a period of despair and its youth were facing uncertainty about the future.
Modi, he added, worked to instil hope and optimism among them. Nabin said this was one of the reasons why the country's youth were now striving continuously to contribute to India's development. He said Modi had created history by ending the practice of triple talaq and claimed that India, which was once the world's 11th-largest economy, had now become the fourth-largest. Nabin also claimed that Modi understood the problems of the poor and had helped lift around 250 million people out of poverty. He said the past 25 years had witnessed significant changes in the country in terms of service, dedication and development.
He said Modi had eliminated middlemen and claimed that money sent by the Centre now reached the bank accounts of beneficiaries directly. Nabin further said Modi was the first Prime Minister whom the BJP had projected before the people as its leader and who was subsequently elected by the people.
Earlier, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "From the land of Maa Kamakhya, I salute the land of Baba Vishwanath. On this very day, Narendra Modi was made the Chief Minister of Gujarat to rescue Gujarat from crisis. I come from Assam, where protests used to happen every day. Parliament was attacked. Today, Pakistan does not enter India, today India enters Pakistan." Sarma said that Before 2014, Hindu society had largely given up hope that a Ram temple would ever be built at the site of the Babri Masjid. However, under Modi's leadership, the Ram temple was eventually constructed. Himanta said that today, no one can suppress India. He added that the credit for ending the influence of Babur and Aurangzeb in the country also goes to the leadership of Narendra Modi. He said that India must continue to move forward under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
