Rs 403 crore released by UP govt for development of 4,030 Ambedkar statue sites

Lucknow, Sep 25(UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major step toward preserving and developing public sites associated with social harmony and the honor of great national icons. The government has allocated Rs 403 crore across all 403 Assembly Constituencies of the state under the Dr B R Ambedkar Statue Site Development Scheme. Under the Scheme, Ambedkar statue sites across all 403 Assembly Constituencies of the state will be developed and beautified.
