Army Chief Gen Dhiraj Seth interacts with patients at mega eye surgical camp in Tangdhar

Srinagar, Sep 25 (UNI) Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth on Friday interacted with patients and distributed medicines and gifts during the 10th edition of the Mega Eye Surgical Camp under Operation Drishti at Tangdhar in Kupwara, officials said. The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) surgeons performed 220 sight-restoring surgeries at an underground operation theatre in Tangdhar- a shelling-prone area along the Line of Control in Kashmir. Most interventions were cataract surgeries, along with selective retinal procedures and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
