23-year-old sentenced to 20 years in Panchkula POCSO Case

Panchkula, Sep 25 (UNI) A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years' rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 52,000 by a Fast Track Special POCSO Court in Panchkula in a case registered in 2024. The accused was convicted under Section 6 of the POCSO Act by the court of Additional Sessions Judge Manish Dua. He was also sentenced to two years' rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 2,000 under Section 506 of the IPC. Both sentences will run concurrently.
