Paradip Port notified as mega port by Centre

Bhubaneswar, Sep 25 (UNI) Paradip Port has been officially notified as a mega port by the Centre, recognising its growing scale and cargo-handling capabilities. The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, in a notification issued today, declared Paradip, along with Deendayal (Kandla), Jawaharlal Nehru (Nhava Sheva) and Mundra ports, as mega ports under Section 73 of the Indian Ports Act, 2025. The notification comes amid a series of record-breaking operational achievements by Paradip Port.
