Religious fairs linked to faith, traditions a priority of Himachal govt: Goma

Dharamshala, Sep 19 (UNI): Himachal Pradesh Ayush and Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma said preservation and promotion of fairs associated with the state's religious faith, folk culture and traditions was a priority of the state government. Addressing a cultural evening organised as part of the Durgashwar Mahadev Dal Lake Fair here late Friday evening, Goma said such events not only preserve the state's rich cultural heritage but also help connect the younger generation with its traditions and folk culture.
