Main accused held for siphoning fuel from refinery tankers in Hisar; 901 litres of diesel, petrol, chemicals seized

Panchkula, Sep 21 (UNI) Haryana Police have arrested the alleged main accused in a racket involving the illegal siphoning and sale of fuel from tankers leaving an Indian Oil refinery in Hisar district and recovered about 901 litres of diesel, petrol and chemicals, police said on Monday. The accused, identified as Arun, was arrested in a joint operation by the Barwala police station team and the security branch following information that fuel was being illegally extracted from around 40 oil tankers at Ankur Dhaba in Badhawar village on the Jind-Barwala road, police said.
