Himachal: Heroin seized in Kangra, 1 booked under NDPS Act

Kangra, Sep 21 (UNI) Kangra police arrested one person under NDPS Act following seizure of heroin from his possession at Rajol, police said here today. Kangra Sub-Divisional Police officer Rajesh Thakur told UNI that the police seized 7.22 grams of heroin (chitta) from a person identified as Lucky, a resident of Garh Bankhandi in Dehra tehsil of Kangra district, at Rajol on September 20. SDPO Thakur further said that a case has been registered at Gaggal Police Station under Sections 21, 29 and 61-85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
