J&K Police recovers stolen gold ornaments worth Rs 50 lakh from bank locker within 24 hours

Jammu, Sep 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police have recovered around 300 grams of gold ornaments worth nearly Rs 50 lakh, allegedly stolen from a bank locker in the Gandhi Nagar area here, within 24 hours of registration of the case. A police spokesman said the gold ornaments were recovered by a team of Police Station Gandhi Nagar, following a complaint regarding the theft from a locker at the J&K Bank, Shastri Nagar Branch.
