Ex-Maha CM Chavan seeks probe into ECI functioning, removal of CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Mumbai, Sep 27 (UNI) Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan today called for an inquiry into the functioning of the Election Commission of India (ECI) and sought the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. In a post on micro-blogging site X, he referred to a report published by The Indian Express concerning the functioning of the poll panel and said the matter required a detailed investigation.
