Silicon valley-based FarmX eyes Odisha for high-tech agriculture manufacturing hub

Bhubaneswar, Sep 27 (UNI) Silicon Valley-based high-technology firm FarmX has proposed an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in Odisha to establish an advanced manufacturing and export hub for autonomous electric tractors, artificial intelligence (AI) software, robotics and intelligent farming systems. A FarmX delegation, led by Chief Operating Officer Premal Ashar and Head of AI Lalit Bhatt, discussed the proposal with Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, officials of the Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment and Energy departments, and Additional Chief Secretary, E&IT, Vishal Kumar Dev.
