Crime Branch files chargesheet against 3 agriculture officials in forged DOB case

Srinagar, Oct 14 (UNI) The Special Crime Wing (SCW) of Crime Branch Kashmir on Wednesday filed a chargesheet against three public servants in a fraud and corruption case involving the alleged manipulation of service records to secure undue benefits. Officials said the chargesheet was presented before the Special Judge, Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, in connection with FIR registered in 2022 under charges related to cheating, forgery, use of forged documents and criminal conspiracy, besides provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
