OMC, AMD join hands to explore critical minerals in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 (UNI) The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMD), Hyderabad, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, for joint exploration, scientific research and exchange of technical expertise. The collaboration will cover OMC's mining leases and other areas across the State, with a focus on modern exploration technologies, scientific studies, joint research, knowledge sharing and capacity building to accelerate the discovery and development of critical and strategic minerals.
