Hisar police recover Rs 1 lakh lost to cyber fraud, return full amount to victim

Hisar, Oct 31 (UNI) Hisar Police have recovered and returned the entire Rs 1 lakh lost by a local resident in an online fraud, officials said on Saturday. A police official said the victim, Kapil Kumar of Hisar, had been cheated of Rs 1 lakh through an online transaction. Following his complaint, a case was registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station, and an investigation was launched.
