BJP lights 108 diyas in Shimla to mark PM Modi's birthday

Shimla, September 17 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday evening organised an 'Ashirwad Ka Diya' programme at its state headquarters, Deepkamal, Chakkar, here to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, with party workers lighting 108 ceremonial lamps and offering prayers for his health and long life. BJP State General Secretary (Organisation) Siddharthan attended the programme as chief guest, while senior party leaders, state office-bearers and hundreds of workers participated in the ceremony and extended birthday greetings to the Prime Minister.
