Second day of J&K Assembly session begins on noisy note

Srinagar, Sept 22 (UNI) The second day of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly session began on a noisy note on Tuesday after National Conference (NC) legislator Abdul Majid Larmi demanded restoration of public holidays on the birth and death anniversaries of NC founder Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. Larmi also suggested that the government should consider withdrawing the holiday observed on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh. He said that if the demand was not considered, the existing holiday associated with Maharaja Hari Singh should also be reconsidered.
