Kaithal: 4.31 lakh metric tons paddy purchased, 3.26 lakh metric tons lifted

Satish Seth Kaithal, Oct 20 (UNI) Kaithal DC Aparajita said that the work of government procurement and lifting of paddy is going on smoothly in various grain markets of the district. Till now, 4,31,524 metric tons of paddy has been purchased from farmers in the mandis of the district, while 3,26,590 metric tons of paddy has been lifted. Thus, against the total purchased paddy, about 76 percent lifting has been completed.
