Dussehra celebrated with traditional fervour in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 20 (UNI) The festival of Dussehra, symbolising the victory of good over evil, was celebrated with traditional fervour at the the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar, on Tuesday. The highlight of the celebrations was the burning of the effigy of demon king Ravana in the evening, marking the triumph of good over evil. The programme was organised by the Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti (KPSS) in association with the Punit Balan Group.
