Haryana: Five-storey building tilts after excavation in Gurugram; 3 houses evacuated, FIR registered

Gurugram, Oct 20 (UNI) Residents of three houses in Gurugram's Sushant Lok-1 were evacuated after a nearly completed five-storey building tilted following foundation excavation on an adjoining plot, prompting police to register a case against the plot owner, contractor and excavator operator. The incident occurred at Plot No. 1770 in Block C of Sushant Lok-1 on Monday night, when the building tilted approximately 2 to 2.5 inches to one side, allegedly because of excavation work on the neighbouring property.
