Satish Seth Kaithal, Sep 19 (UNI) Scientific management of crop residues, rather than burning them in the field, helps maintain declining soil fertility and improve soil health, said experts at a training program organized on crop residue management at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kaithal of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.
