Haryana seeks special central package for natural farming, water conservation

Chandigarh, Sep 19 (UNI) Haryana has sought a special central funding package to expand natural farming and address groundwater depletion and waterlogging, with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini saying the state plans to bring 150,000 acres under natural and organic cultivation by 2030-31. Saini proposed at a two-day Finance Ministry conference in New Delhi on financing India's development goals, where states discussed agriculture, energy and other areas requiring long-term investment.
