Punjab Congress protests in Chandigarh, seeks CEC Gyanesh Kumar's removal, arrest

Chandigarh, Sep 25 (UNI) Hundreds of Punjab Congress workers protested in Chandigarh on Friday, demanding the removal and arrest of India's Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in electoral roll revisions, accusations the Election Commission has rejected. The protesters, carrying placards and effigies, gathered near the Reserve Bank of India office in Sector 17 before marching towards the Election Commission office.
