TN Govt forms SIT to probe Granite baron Veermani sexual misconduct case

Chennai, Sep 25 (UNI) Amid the Chennai Crime Branch (CCB) police widening the probe net and more skeletons tumbling out of the cupboard, the Tamil Nadu government on Friday formed a 4-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the high profile case involving leading industrialist and granite baron R.Veeramani of Gem Granites for sexual assaulting several minor girls. The SIT, comprising four women police officers will be headed by Inspector General of Police P.C.Thenmozhi.
