Kaithal, Oct 9 (UNI) In response to a state-wide call by the Safidon Bar Association to protest the assault on a lawyer for seeking information from the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department under the RTI Act, work was completely suspended in Kaithal on Friday. Lawyers in Kaithal abstained from work. Due to the suspension, proxy councils were appointed outside all courts to secure dates for today's cases.
