Vidyut Sakhis create history, unprecedented electricity bill collection

Lucknow, Oct 7 (UNI) Didis from self-help groups formed under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission are not only increasing their income through various livelihood activities but are also playing a vital role in strengthening the rural economy. Vidyut Sakhis have collected electricity bills worth over Rs 3,650 crore and earned commissions of over Rs 46.98 crore, an official said on Wednesday.
