Haryana launches patent initiative, offering up to Rs 50,000 per application and seeking Rs 11 cr in funding for scheme

Panchkula, Sept 26 (UNI) Haryana has introduced a new patent and innovation policy that provides up to Rs 50,000 in financial assistance per patent application. The policy supports the entire process from filing to commercialisation, technology transfer, and start-up creation, aiming to strengthen the state's intellectual property ecosystem. The Haryana Patent Support, Commercialisation and Innovation Facilitation Policy (HPSCIFP), 2026-27, introduced by the Higher Education Department, covers students, researchers, faculty, start-ups, MSMEs, independent inventors, women, and rural innovators.
