Flood disrupts connectivity in Gadchiroli, SDRF evacuates two critical patients

Gadchiroli, Sep 26 (UNI) Heavy rains in Gadchiroli and neighbouring Chhattisgarh have disrupted normal life, with the Perl Kota river near Bhamragarh overflowing and floodwater flowing over the old bridge, cutting off the town from other parts of the district. Traffic on the Bhamragarh-Alapalli route has been suspended as water continues to flow over the bridge. As a result, connectivity to 63 villages in Bhamragarh taluka has been disrupted. Rising water levels in the Perl Kota, Indravati and Pamulgautham rivers and streams have affected transportation and daily activities in several areas.
