Haryana orders statewide verification of Family ID income data through Gram Sabhas

Panchkula, Sep 25(UNI) Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on Friday directed district authorities across the state to carry out a time-bound verification of income and family composition data recorded under the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) through Gram Sabhas, in a move aimed at ensuring welfare benefits reach eligible families while excluding ineligible beneficiaries. Rastogi, who presided over a meeting with district officials through video conferencing, asked the administration to accord priority to the accuracy, quality and reliability of PPP-based data.
